PORK PIE (2017)
Starring Dean O'Gorman, Ashleigh Cummings and James Rolleston. Directed by Matt Murphy.

Jon, a charming but out-of-luck novelist, musters the bravery needed to try and win back the love of his life by surprising her at a friend’s wedding. One problem: he's in Auckland and the wedding is in Wellington. After a failed attempt to make the journey south in his bomby Holden, Jon hitches a ride with Luke, a sparky young dude driving a fancy new (and, unbeknownst to Jon, stolen) yellow MINI Cooper…Soon after, undercover vegan-activist, Keira, climbs through the fast food drive-through window into the MINI bound for Wellington and the Blondini gang of three are formed. As they journey south, the most epic road trip of their lives ensues. To add to Jon's romantic struggles, he and his two new mates become accidental outlaws on-the-run and soon have a frenzy of police and media hot in their pursuit...
GALORE (2014)
Starring Ashleigh Cummings, Lily Sullivan, Toby Wallace and Aliki Matangi. Directed by Rhys Graham.

Set over the long, hot summer that led up to the 2003 Canberra bushfires, the film follows Billie (Ashleigh Cummings from Tomorrow, When the War Began and hit TV show Puberty Blues) and her best friend Laura (Lily Sullivan who wowed audiences in Mental). Two impulsive teenage girls who live in the outskirts of Canberra, they dream of a life outside of the one they know. They share everything… including Laura’s boyfriend, Danny (Toby Wallace), who Billie has fallen crazy in love with. While Laura is working up the courage to lose her virginity to Danny, Billie has been sleeping with him behind her best friend’s back. Billie can’t believe that finally, someone loves her more than they love Laura – who is always the most popular person in the room. When Billie’s social-worker mum takes in Isaac (Aliki Matangi), a troubled kid trying to escape his past, the delicate balance of their lives is disrupted. Laura finds herself drawn to the intense and tender Isaac and the four teenagers find their lives colliding at dizzying speed.
