In a quiet Burgundy village, Michelle (Hélène Vincent) lives a solitary life foraging mushrooms - until her estranged daughter Valérie (Ludivine Sagnier) unexpectedly arrives, leaving her young son in Michelle’s care. A single misstep rekindles old tensions and unearths long-buried guilt, just as the release of a local man from prison further unsettles the fragile calm.
Set amid the fading beauty of autumn, 'When Fall is Coming' is a haunting tale of family, forgiveness, and the secrets that lurk just beneath the surface.
