Bent on revenge, Maleficent faces an epic battle with the invading king’s successor and, as a result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the kingdom - and perhaps to Maleficent’s true happiness as well.

Franklin Franklin is wigging out! He lives alone in a crappy LA apartment, has no body hair, drinks nothing but soda and spends all his time playing an alphom, dreaming of another life in the perfect nation of Switzerland. But now Franklin faces a whole new challenge; he's just killed his landlord Mr Olivetti and needs to figure out how to get away with it.

When his plan to stage a suicide goes ridiculously wrong, he finds himself the focus of investigator Burt Walnut. The cover-up spins out of control when Franklin's nosy neighbours all get involved, including Tommy Balls, Rocky, Vegas stripper Simone, Mr Allspice, as well as Franklin's institutionalised brother Bernard and well-known motivation guru Dr Sage Mennox.

Just as it seems there's no way to escape, even more surprises await Franklin Franklin, and who knows - he may well discover life isn't so crazy after all!
