The international acts are coming in thick and fast. Everyone's favourite Glaswegian synthpop band, Chvrches, will be back in Australia following this year's sellout shows. Fellow Glasgow musicians Frightened Rabbit will also be appearing with their brand of moody indie rock (and that would be one interesting flight, with both bands on the same plane).
Haim will be jetting in from LA to win over the crowd with their indie pop tunes, and Youth Lagoon will also be making the trip from the U.S. to give us a personal rendition of his latest work of art, 'Wondrous Bughouse'. Lorde will be crossing the ditch to bring her talent down under. From London, the post-punk girls of Savages will be performing, and Jamie xx (of The xx) will also be spinning some tracks onstage for fans.
Some top-notch Aussies have made it onto the bill too - Cloud Control should have some new tunes for us by the time Laneway comes around. Jagwar Ma have had a great year worldwide in 2013, but will be kicking off 2014 with the Laneway Festival. We'll also be seeing Vance Joy take to the stage, following this year's sold-out Australian tour.
With their growing reputation for solid live shows, Perth boys The Growl will be joining the festivities. And after suitably wowing felling reviewer James Cerche, Kirin J Callinan will be one to keep an eye out for with his quirky 80s stylings.
