23rd April 2014

From Friday the 25th to Sunday 27th July 2014, Splendour In The Grass once again takes over the North Byron Parklands for one of Australia's biggest music festivals - and today, the first line-up for the event, featuring over 80 artists, caught the attention of music-lovers everywhere.

As always, Splendour will be the only place to catch some of the biggest acts. This time around, they include Outkast, Two Door Cinema Club, Interpol, CHVRCHES, Danny Brown, and New York's Darkside. If these are must-see musos for you, you'd better make sure you don't miss out on a Splendour ticket.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Lily Allen has recently returned to the music scene, and will be making her way down under for Splendour. Also here with new music will be Foster The People, not to be missed live. Hot off their much-raved Falls Festival visit, London Grammar will be back on Aussie shores, along with previous visitors Grouplove, The 1975, Phantogram, Mikhael Paskalev, Clty and Colour, and The Head And The Heart.

You'll also get to see some of the biggest and best Aussie acts, with the likes of Vance Joy, Aussies Angus & Julia Stone, festival experts Ball Park Music, the legendary Hoodoo Gurus, The Jezabels, Spiderbait, Sticky Fingers, Illy, Violent Soho, DZ Deathrays, Gossling, The Kite String Tangle, RÜFÜS, Saskwatch, Kingswood and DD Dumbo... just to name a few. Those in need of electronic tunes will be happy with the likes of Art vs Science, The Preatures and Peking Duk.

It's set to be one massive weekend - and as always, tickets are sure to be snapped up in just minutes. It's really no surprise, looking at this abridged list of artists, along with the other sights and sounds of Splendour. Time to prepare for yet another life-changing music festival.

Tickets are on sale from the 2nd May - for more information, head to www.splendourinthegrass.com.
