MASSIVE 2017 LINE-UP

SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS - 2017 LINE-UP
Charlie David Page

Wow. That’s easily the best way to describe the line-up for 2017’s Splendour In The Grass. There’s over 100 bands set to descend on the North Byron Parklands to keep music lovers entertained. With a hoard of international acts, along with the hottest artists from Australia, it’s sure to be one of the biggest parties the Byron Bay area has ever seen.

Bringing the noise from abroad are The XX, Queens of the Stone Age and LCD Soundsystem. They’ll be joined by Royal Blood, Haim, Sigur Rós, Two Door Cinema Club, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Father John Misty, Banks, Schoolboy Q, RL Grime and Real Estate. There’s sure to be new music from Ásgier, George Ezra and Future Islands too.

There’s also plenty of awesome Aussies representing at Splendour. Back from touring the world, Vance Joy returns with what is sure to be a massive show. Peking Duk will be providing the dance tunes, while indie superstar Tash Sultana will wow the crowd with her talent. Long-time favourite Paul Kelly will be thrilling audiences with his biggest tunes, while Bernard Fanning is also sure to be a big hit. Also on the bill are Cut Copy, San Cisco, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Dune Rats, Thundamentals, Meg Mac, Dan Sultan, D.D Dumbo, Client Liaison, The Kite String Tangle, Allday, BAD//DREEMS, Kirin J. Callinan, Bag Raiders, Big Scary, Airling, Pond, The Smith Street Band, Amy Shark, Kingswood, Vallis Alps, and Middle Kids.

See? Wow. It’s amazing they can squeeze all that talent and more into just three days.

Tickets are on sale from Thursday 6th April 2017 at 9am AEST, and almost always sell out immediately - so get in swiftly for your chance to be part of it. For more details, head to www.splendourinthegrass.com.
