Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey stars as an optimistic prospector who teams up with a geologist to find gold in Indonesia. Edgar Ramirez, Bryce Dallas Howard, Corey Stoll and Toby Kebbell join the cast in this tale of ambition and greed.

Set in 1988, Kenny Wells (McConaughey) is a desperate prospector who sells his wife’s watch to set off on an amazing journey to find gold in Indonesia. There, he teams up with an equally eager geologist and sets off to find gold in the uncharted jungle.

The true challenge arises when Kenny has to make it through the difficult and harsh world of Wall Street.
