METALLICA THROUGH THE NEVER

For over three decades, Metallica has been a dominant force in rock ‘n' roll, continually pushing the envelope to create mind-blowing musical experiences for their legions of loyal fans. 'Metallica Through the Never' is one of the most epic concert films ever produced.

We follow Trip (Dane DeHaan - 'The Place Beyond the Pines', 'Lawless'), a young roadie sent on an urgent mission during Metallica’s roaring live set. As the band performs for tens of thousands of devoted fans, Trip is dispatched outside the arena to recover a mysterious item being transported to the show. But the seemingly simple assignment turns into a surreal adventure when Trip finds himself in the middle of a tense standoff between angry protestors and charging riot police. In the ensuing mayhem, amidst the post-apocalyptic streetscape, a vicious masked horseman sets his murderous eyes on Trip.

Award-winning filmmaker Nimród Antal ('Predators', 'Kontroll') and one of the biggest bands in the world, Metallica, combined to produce 'Metallica Through the Never' – a bracing, raw and visceral entertainment experience, which seamlessly weaves an out-of-this-world narrative with Metallica’s spectacular live performance. Featuring dazzling pyrotechnics and the most elaborate live- performance stage ever built, 'Metallica Through the Never' is mind-bending, ear-shattering and features many of the bands most iconic songs.

Competition opens at 5:00pm AEDT on Sunday 26th January 2014 and closes at 11:59 pm AEDT on Sunday 2nd February 2014. Three winners will be chosen at random on Monday 3rd February 2014.
