CAST
GOLDEN VOICES (2021)
Starring Maria Belkin, Vladimir Fridman, Evelin Hagoel, Uri Ran Klauzner and Elizabeth Kon. Directed by Evgeny Ruman.
Victor and Raya Frenkel were the golden voices of the Soviet film dubbing for decades, lending their talent to everything from Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep in Kramer vs. Kramer to helping Fellini launch in the USSR. In 1990, with the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Frenkels immigrated to Israel, just like hundreds of thousands of Soviet Jews, and are forced to adjust to the culture shock.

In their sixties, Victor’s and Raya’s attempts to use their vocal training results in bizarre and unexpected events during their first months in Israel, turning the beginning of the new chapter of their life into an amusing, painful, and absurd experience.
