It’s finally here. One of the biggest festivals on the Australian music calendar, Splendour in the Grass, has announced its line-up today. And safe to say, it’s very extensive.

The big names come thick and fast. Heading back to Australia yet again are Mumford and Sons – this time, Splendour will be their only performance. Also returning down under are Monsters and Men, after their rave reviews at the Laneway Festival earlier this year. James Blake has only just left the country, but will also be back. Passion Pit, The Presets, Portugal. The Man and The National will also be making return visits for a set at Splendour.

There’s plenty of Aussies on the bill too – with a new album on the way, Empire of the Sun will be showcasing new tunes, and Bernard Fanning is set to show off new material also. The list of great Australian artists just goes on: Architecture in Helsinki, Flume, Birds of Tokyo, The Rubens, Sarah Blasko, Hermitude, Something For Kate, Chet Faker, Aline, Cub Scouts, Vance Joy, The Jungle Giants, Art of Sleeping, The Bamboos – it may seem trite, but there truly is something for everyone.
